was founded in 1951 by the late Mr Robert (Bob) Minter. 

Bob as many of you may know was a true believer in "what the customer wants - the customer gets" no matter what time of day or night that was. 
This tradition has not been forgotton - we are here for Industry as strong as before -

History

1951-1952

R.H. Minter began manufacturing caskets out of their first factory in Wattletree Road, Malvern.

1952-1956

Shortly after they moved to Murdoch Street, Clayton which was made from second hand building material.

1956

By 1956 R.H. Minter had outgrown the Murdoch Street premises and built their own factory in Dandenong Road, Clayton which was 2000 square feet.

This premises was extended and increased in size upto 14,000 square feet including a first floor extension.

Today

Today R.H. Minter have a premises which is over 52,000 square feet on a 3 acre site with approximately 28 employees.


On May 5th, 1996 R H Minter Pty Ltd acquired H H Webb and Co, previously known as Whitehall Industries and Barrett Industries.   The purchase of the company expanded the Minter group of companies vastly - hence now having branches in every state of Australia.  Also expanding our employees to 80 plus throughout Australia.
